CareerworksNova is a not for profit organization with a mandate to improve the employability of clients/individuals by providing access to information and services related to employment, education and training. CareerworksNova was incorporated in 1999 and has become an essential service within the community. Since that time, it has been performing case management activities for years and has met its goals with success due to the commitment to its clients, staff and community. CareerworksNova is the starting point for anyone looking to establish their career goals and develop a plan that will guide their future employment success. The objectives of CareerworksNova are:
To maintain a high level of quality customer service by providing exemplary resources of staff to meet ongoing needs of the clients.
To promote the services of CareerworksNova in the community and with partner agencies.
To build partnerships with the local business community for the purposes of developing employment opportunities for clients.
Our services include activities which allow us to accomplish our above mentioned objectives.They are designed with flexibility so that CareerworksNova can ensure adaptability to changing client needs and labour market trends.
Staff complement includes expertise and experience in counselling, social services, business, sales, youth, customer service and administration. All employees are educated in one or more of these disciplines and bring years of training, knowledge and abilities that ensure the activities and goals of the organization can be reached and quality services to clients are maintained.
CareerworksNova success would not be possible without the ongoing support and dedication from our volunteer Board of Directors. Our board includes both government, non profit and private sector volunteers who work collaboratively to assist CareerworksNova in achieving its mandate, objectives and future goals. These members of the community do this because they believe and support the importance of employability in this community and how it affects the people of Colchester as a whole.
The building and maintaining of community partners is a top priority at CareerworksNova. There is a strong level of support that currently exists between us and these partners as they have been developed through years of liaison at various levels, from financial agreements, contract negotiations and monitoring of activities to support in areas of information sharing and client referrals.
Regardless of the type of relationship or level of support we rely on all of these partnerships in order to provide effective Employment Assisted Services to our clients.
